A compatible gutter attachment can remove loose, dry leaves while you stand on the ground. It cannot guarantee clear downspouts or remove every wet, compacted blockage.

Check whether the kit fits the job

Read the blower and attachment manuals for reach, fit, and assembly. Work only where the gutter is within the kit’s rated reach from stable ground. Stay clear of overhead power lines and never extend the kit with improvised poles.

Clear loose debris

1. Wear eye protection, hearing protection as required, and clothing suited to falling debris. Move people, pets, and fragile items away.
2. Assemble the attachment with the blower off and disconnected from its power source. Confirm every section is secure.
3. From stable ground, direct the nozzle as the kit manual shows. Move along the gutter slowly while watching where debris falls.
4. Stop for packed mud, plants, loose gutters, or places you cannot reach safely. Use another approved method or a gutter service rather than a roof or ladder with the blower.

Check the result

Observe runoff during rain or a safe, controlled water check from the ground. Water should reach the downspout and discharge away from the foundation. Overflow or no discharge means the job is incomplete. Do not call a gutter clear simply because dry leaves flew out.
